The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Scholarship for Stimulating Innovation and Research in Medical Students, sponsored by the State Bank of India, was successfully awarded at a formal function held on 26th June 2025 at Government Medical College, Alibag.

This year, the award was conferred on the project titled: “Causes and Effects of Teenage Pregnancies on the Health of Women”, which addressed a critical adolescent health issue with far-reaching implications for community health.

The scholarship was presented during the celebration of Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj’s Birth Anniversary.
